Requirements to Certify 200-hr RYT

  • To get certified, you MUST complete all five (5) Units in addition to attending two (2) classes per week.
  • All five (5) Units and two (2) classes per week must be fulfilled within the dates of the course.
  • Class requirements will need to be fulfilled during your training course dates and the complimentary unlimited monthly membership will not be extended past the last RYT training unit. 
  • The Final Exam includes teaching 1-hr demonstration class and attending a minimum of four (4) other trainee demonstrations, cumulative written exam, partner cueing, and adjustment assessment. This exam must be completed no later than Jan 1, 2018. 
  • For payment plans, the next billing date is one month from the date of the first payment made. 
  • Current members will have 3 membership auto-pay holds from dates of 9/9/17-12/31/17; after which, there is the option to continue a monthly unlimited membership for $79/mo or if you are a student (college or high school as opposed to a student of yoga), $54/mo.

Required Reading

Below is the required reading for the Immersion course. There are copies of certain books at the studio (we are recovering some from borrowers :) It is not necessary to purchase all of these books at once, but rather, choose intuitively. I do not recommend attempting to read all of these books along with the manual and other work. You have much time to digest this information. Om shanti yoga scholars!
